A Balanced 5-Day Homeschool Program

Redeemer Classical Academy offers a thoughtfully designed 5-day homeschool program that provides the best of both worlds: structured in-person instruction and the flexibility of home-based learning. Students gather for two days of on-campus instruction engaging with teachers and peers in a collaborative, Christ-centered environment. This face-to-face time provides accountability, enrichment, and community. On the remaining three days, students continue education at home under the guidance of parents following lesson plans provided by RCA.

Using the Trivium—the arts of Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric

At Redeemer Classical Academy, we embrace the Trivium—a time-tested classical approach to education that equips students to think critically, communicate effectively, and pursue wisdom. The Trivium consists of three stages: grammar, logic, and rhetoric. Each stage aligns with the natural development of a child’s mind and builds upon the previous one to form a comprehensive framework for learning. By applying the Trivium to the study of the great books of the Western tradition, students are introduced to the rich heritage of literature, philosophy, history, and science that has shaped our world. Each work is examined through the lens of the Bible, helping students to discern God’s truth, identify the virtues and flaws in human reasoning, and gain a deeper understanding of His character and creation.

Supporting Families Through Junior High and High School

At Redeemer Classical Academy, we understand that the homeschooling journey can become more challenging as children enter junior high and high school. Subjects grow more complex, and the educational needs often require additional resources and expertise. That's why we focus on supporting families during these pivotal years. Our two-day hybrid program is designed to guide and empower parents, providing a robust classical Christian education that combines in-person instruction with at-home learning plans. We aim to equip families in the Cedar Valley with the confidence and tools they need to continue educating their students effectively.
